What is Moms for Mullock? A coalition of South Jersey families, caregivers, neighbors, educators, and community advocates organizing to elect the next Congressman for CD2, Zack Mullock, who will protect the programs families rely on — from healthcare and public schools to food assistance and disability rights.

Moms for Mullock is an organizing effort supporting Zack Mullock’s campaign by engaging women, parents, caregivers, educators, families, and community members. The effort is intentionally inclusive and focused on turning support into action through events, outreach, volunteer work, and community conversations. It creates a clear lane for people who care about financial security, disability policy, caregiving, schools, healthcare, and family stability to connect with the campaign and one another.

Why is Moms for Mullock, a South Jersey Democratic Women’s Forum  (SJDWF) program? We believe federal policy should help families thrive. We're organizing to make sure the voices of real South Jersey families are heard and that our next member of Congress is listening. South Jersey deserves a representative who supports families — not one who votes to cut Medicaid, SNAP, public education, and the programs families and people with disabilities count on. Together, we're building a broad, united front for change.

What issues will Moms for Mullock focus on? The SJDWF program is centered on the real-life impact of federal policy on South Jersey families. Key issue areas include Social Security and Medicaid, home and community-based services, IDEA and special education, caregiving and unpaid family labor, healthcare access and insurance gaps, transportation, housing, benefits cliffs, and community inclusion.

What are the Moms for Mullock core issues? We're focused on six pillars:

1. Disability Rights & Inclusion

Disability rights are civil rights. Enforce equal access in healthcare, employment, voting, transportation, and digital life.

2. Economic Security for Families

Protect SNAP, SSI, and other essential income supports, and reform the rules that punish people for working, saving, marrying, or providing family care.

3. Healthcare, Medicaid & Caregiving

Protect Medicaid and the home and community-based services that let veterans, disabled people, and older adults and veterans to live safely at home and support the direct-care workers who make independent living possible. 

4. Housing, Transportation & Independent Living

Expand affordable, accessible housing and reliable transportation so everyone can work, learn, receive care, and participate fully in community life.

5. Justice for All

Defend civil rights and equal opportunity for everyone, including women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ people, disabled people, immigrants, and other communities facing discrimination. 

6. Strong Public Schools for Every Student

Defend public education, fully fund IDEA, and ensure students with disabilities receive the services, inclusion, and transition support promised by law.

How can we get involved? Supporters can make one or more commitments: Attend the September 9th Moms for Mullock event, bring a friend, knock doors, make calls or send texts, write postcards, display a lawn sign, share online, or offer another skill or form of volunteer support. Volunteers may also sign up with their name, contact information, town, preferred contact method, and the actions they are willing to take. The more families who raise their voices, the louder our message.

What is the September 9th Listening Session about? A community listening session where representatives for South Jersey families can share growing concerns — ensuring our next Congressman understands what's at stake. It will focus on how federal policy affects disabled people, families, caregivers, educators, providers, and communities across South Jersey. The format is intended to be listening-centered, respectful, moderated, accessible, and solutions-focused.

The format includes a welcome and purpose, brief opening remarks from Zack Mullock, community advocate framing, and a call to action.

Where and when is the September 9th Listening Session? Doors are open at 6pm; program to begin promptly at 6:30pm at Stockton University, Campus Center Theatre, 101 Vera King Farris Drive, Galloway, NJ 08205.
